Group Tours
We are accepting reservations for groups who want to visit in September 2020 and beyond. Below are the details of our group tour activities. Keep safe and well during these times.
We love having group tours at the Seton Shrine – tour groups, school, church and bus groups all are welcome.
- We have plenty of free on-site parking for buses and cars
- There are two outdoor picnic areas available for use
- Our sites and grounds are accessible to physically challenged people
- Meeting rooms with a/v equipment are available upon request
- On-site catering is available upon request
- Use of the Basilica for Mass and private devotions can be coordinated

Historic Homes Tour for Groups of 10 or More
Your group will discover the inspirational story of Elizabeth Ann Seton and see what her life was like in the early 1800s by touring the two historic homes where she lived and worked. We’ll work with you on scheduling a time that fits your group best. The tour begins at the Visitor Center and lasts about 45-60 minutes.

Live! Virtual Tours for Groups
Join us from the safety of your home or the comfort of a classroom! We are here to work with you to meet your group’s needs…and this tour is FREE during the 200th Anniversary Year!
Civil War Tour for Groups
On this specialty tour, your group will hear all that the Sisters experienced around the time of the Battle of Gettysburg, and how they cared for the wounded after the battle was over. This tour is offered for groups of 10 or more during the months of April-November, with reservations made in advance.

One-Day and Multi-Day Itineraries

Educators
Build upon what your students learn in the classroom with a field trip to the Shrine. History, architecture, art and religion are some of the subjects a field trip to the Shrine would cover. For more info, check out our profile sheet for teachers or contact us at kelly.smith@setonshrine.org.
Mass for Groups
Your group is welcome to attend the regularly scheduled 1:30pm Mass in the Basilica that takes place Sunday – Friday, as well as Confession and Adoration that occur before Mass beginning at 12:15pm. You may also schedule a private Mass if you have a priest who wishes to celebrate Mass for your group, or we can connect you to the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, which is three miles away and also offers Mass.
