Throughout 2025, the National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton will lead a year-long national celebration of the 50th anniversary of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton\u2019s canonization, which occurred on Sept. 14, 1975.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The events began on Mother Seton\u2019s Feast Day on Jan. 4, with the opening of a new special anniversary exhibition devoted to her canonization in the Seton Shrine\u2019s museum and a mass celebrated by Baltimore Archbishop William E. Lori.<\/p>\n
