When I was pregnant with my first child, born in January of 1975, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton was not yet a Saint but an older lady in our church had a relic of hers. She made the sign of the cross over my stomach every Sunday.\u00a0I didn\u2019t give much thought to it at the time.<\/p>\n

It was exciting many years later to discover that St. Elizabeth Ann Seton was canonized on my birthday the very year my daughter Kelly was born. In addition, my daughter is a teacher in an all-girls school. I consider St. Elizabeth Ann Seton to be her patron.<\/p>\n
