All roads will lead to the National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton this summer as two walking pilgrimages converge in Emmitsburg as part of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Mother Seton\u2019s canonization.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThe Seton Shrine is first and foremost a place of prayer and pilgrimage, providing a uniquely Catholic experience as it is the only place in the United States where you can visit the home of a saint,\u201d said executive director Rob Judge. \u201cAs the late Pope Francis once said, \u2018Making a pilgrimage to shrines is one of the most eloquent expressions of the faith of God\u2019s people.\u2019 We see every day how our sacred and historical spaces at the shrine enable pilgrims to encounter our Lord, grow in their faith, and receive answers to their prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n
