Back from the Dead Cemetery Walk
October 20 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm$5
…And as you encounter the Dead on the Back from the Dead Cemetery Walk, you’ll be forever-changed!
Back from the Dead Cemetery Walks take place October 18-20 and 26-28 in the historic cemetery at the Seton Shrine, located at 339 South Seton Avenue in Emmitsburg, MD.
On the Cemetery Walk, as you journey through the dark with candles to light your way, you’ll meet a cast of extraordinary saints and ordinary sinners who reflect upon the “Last Things”: death, judgment, heaven and hell. Like Saint John de Brebeuf, who will share with you what the North American martyrs endured for the sake of Christ. You’ll also hear Saint Therese of Lisieux talk about her “Little Way” to holiness, and discover what inspired Blessed Stanley Rother to sacrifice his life for the people of his parish.
Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton will greet you as well, and share her story of finding Jesus in the midst of suffering.
Through these encounters with saints, martyrs and souls suffering in purgatory, you’ll discover what it means to be truly alive, both now and in the life to come.
The faith-filled walk is ideal for youth groups and families with older children (14+).
