Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton’s Feast Day/Epiphany
January 4

The Church celebrates the Feast of the Epiphany on January 4, 2026 and the liturgy will focus on the arrival of the kings who, in faith, followed the star to see the Christ child.
It is also the Feast Day of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, and the Shrine notes that masses will celebrate the Epiphany, which held special meaning for Elizabeth and became a defining point in her conversion to Catholicism. Just two months before her first Holy Communion, she wrote: “Now I read with an agonizing heart the Epiphany Sermon of Bourdalou-alas where is my star.”
Thankfully she found her star — her path to the church — through the Eucharist and inspired generations to do the same.
