In 1818, Congress decided to limit the stripes to 13, arranged horizontally, and to add a new star for every new state. Betsy Ross was the creator of the five-pointed star. Learn how to cut the five-pointed star while hearing the stories behind this special star.
Learn how the Sisters of St. Joseph’s and local people in the 1800s would prepare wool to make clothing.
