Living History

April 2, 2022

Engage Living History Interpreters portraying real people from Mother Seton’s world! Our costumed interpreters portray individuals who knew, lived, and worked with Mother Seton, including our Junior History Interpreters who portray real students from St. Joseph’s Academy. Visitors can see what life was like during Mother Seton’s time, including what it was like to live in her community and learn as students under her care. Each tour allows you to engage with our living history interpreters through conversations or hands-on activities. Step back in time to the year 1818 and see the Historic Homes of Mother Seton from an entirely different perspective! Tours last up to 75 minutes. On the day of your visit, please first check in at the Visitor Center.

Thursdays: 10am & 12pm

Fridays: 2pm & 3:30pm

Saturdays: All day, beginning at 10:00am, last admission is 3:30pm

Aren’t sure which time works best for you? Stop in the Visitor Center any time from 2-3:30pm and you can meet up with the current tour! Saturday Living History is an open house format.

Cost: $8/adult, $6/youth ages 7-18, and free for children ages six and under.

If you wish to bring a group of 10 or more, please schedule your group tour here.
