Morning Reflection: “Who Is My Neighbor? Insights from Three Saints and You”

April 22, 2023 @ 8:30 am - 2:30 pm

Join us Saturday morning and Meditate on ‘Loving Service’ and the Parable of the Good Samaritan with Sr. Ellen LaCapria. Sr. Ellen LaCapria has been a Daughter of Charity for 47 years. She credits her Vocation Call to that of Elizabeth Ann Seton. Viewing the world through the heart and soul of the Vincentian Charism, a key characteristic is to love God through service to others. Expressing her love for the charism is actualized by facilitating Prayer Workshops, Art/Spirituality Retreats, and creating Vincentian-centered works of art. Sr. Ellens professional background spans the areas of Creative Arts and Nursing, which led to ministry as an Art Therapist, particularly with adults experiencing mental health concerns. Other ministries have followed. Her particular favorite, due to the Internationality of the Vincentian Family, is her work promoting Systemic Change in several countries throughout the globe
