It’s Elizabeth Ann Seton’s Birthday!
Mother Seton is the Patron Saint of teachers, Foundress of the Sisters of Charity, and mother of two sons and three daughters.
Kick off your school year by celebrating with us! Backpack blessings will be offered for students during the 11am Mass.
After the 11am Mass:
- Cupcakes and singing Happy Birthday to Mother Seton in our Legacy Garden
- Tours of the historic homes and special activities
- Games and interactive stations for all ages
- Share prayer intentions in the White House Chapel. Intentions will be brought to the Altar of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s relics in the Basilica at the end of the day.
