Tea With Mother Seton’s Daughter: A Special Living History Event

July 17 @ 4:00 pm - 4:30 pm

Join us Friday, July 17th at 4pm est for our latest Special Living History Event: Tea With Mother Seton’s Daughter.
The year is 1818 and Mother Seton’s health is failing. Her daughter, Catherine, returns to Emmitsburg to be near her mother and to teach alongside Sister Xavier, a trusted companion of Mother Seton. You are invited to be a fly on the wall during this conversation between two women who knew Mother Seton best.
During this half hour special event, our living history interpreters will offer a glimpse into what daily school life was like, discuss the many travels of Catherine, and what the succession of mothers looked like after Mother Seton’s passing.
A Q+A will follow, so please bring your questions!
