Vocal Music and the Catholic Tradition: A Practical Workshop

Would you like to improve as a singer?  Are you interested in Catholic liturgical music? Singers are invited to join the Seton Shrine’s choir directors for a day-long workshop to work on singing technique and learn about music theory, Gregorian chant, and sacred polyphony on Saturday, September 17th at the Seton Shrine Basilica.

The workshop will be in two sessions. Our morning session will focus on singing technique and musicianship for all levels. Afternoon will focus on the Church’s documents on sacred music and the treasury of music in the Catholic tradition. A boxed lunch is available for those participating in the full day. Singers of all denominations and skill levels are welcome! Open to adults high school aged and older. Full day price = $35 Half day price = $15 (Please note that you may choose either the morning or afternoon session if you only wish to attend half of the day.)
