Walk with Mary: Pray for Peace Bilingual Event — caminando con Maria Reina de la paz (Evento Bilingüe)

Join us on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Seton Shrine for “Walk with Mary: Pray for Peace,” a special bilingual celebration of faith, community, and unity. This day-long gathering invites people of all ages to come together in prayer and fellowship in a spirit of hope and peace.

Experience a meaningful day filled with devotion and joy, including a beautiful Marian procession through the Shrine grounds, uplifting live music from a vibrant Mariachi band, and a powerful bilingual keynote reflection by Bishop Evelio Menjivar-Ayala, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Washington, D.C. Guests can also enjoy a variety of food trucks offering delicious options throughout the day.

The celebration will culminate in a bilingual Vigil Mass in the Basilica, uniting all in prayer for peace.

All are warmly welcome to this joyful and inspiring event.

Event Schedule:

  • 11:30 AM – Food trucks open onsite
  • 1:00 PM – Marian Procession around Shrine Grounds
  • 2:00 PM – Bilingual Talk in the Basilica by Bishop Evelio Menjivar-Ayala, Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Washington
  • 3:00 PM – Mariachi Band performance (outdoors)
  • 4:00 PM – Bilingual Vigil Mass in the Basilica
  • 5:00 PM – Event concludes
