To schedule a custom group tour, use the form below to schedule a tour. A Zoom link will be emailed around two hours prior to the tour. (Please note: you must have a minimum of five participants for the tour to take place)
Tour Options
Historic St. Joseph's House - January 4th & 5th
 40 minutes
Visitors will tour the building where Mother Seton started her school, taught, and spent her last days. This house features artifacts that belonged to Mother Seton and focuses on her educational mission, her devotion, and her legacy as a Saint.
Stone Farmhouse
20 minutes
Visit Mother Seton’s first home in Emmitsburg. This tour details her arrival, 19th century living, and the founding of the Sisters of Charity of St. Joseph’s. The virtual tour is full of stories from the early days of the Sisters of Charity and provides visitors with a chance to see the humble beginnings of a Saint and her company.
Civil War Sisters
45 minutes
Learn the Sisters and Daughters of Charity’s role as nurses during the Civil War. During this tour, visitors will learn about the military encampment on St. Joseph’s property and how the Sisters continued the mission of Mother Seton by helping those in need. This virtual tour provides the opportunity to hear inspiring stories accompanied by artifacts and photographs.
