A Priest Fondly Recalls Attending the Canonization Mass at the Seton Shrine

A little humor goes a long way…

(serie 50 por 50)  On Sept 14, 1975, I and Pete Lozon were at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary 1st year of Theology and we attended St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s canonization at your chapel with the crowd of people. We were mistaken for priests and asked if we wanted to celebrate with them. We said, “later.” And four years later we celebrated mass. Fr. Pete was ordained in January, and I was ordained in March 1979. I still have the first-class relic from there. 45 years with her help and God’s, praying to both all the time. This is my 46th year now, and I am retired due to health. I am still able to say mass.
