Academia Alive - Santuario de Seton

Una experiencia inolvidable de historia viva para estudiantes de todas las edades.

April 27-May 2, 2026

Nestled among Maryland’s mountains is St. Joseph’s School—Mother Seton’s historic 19th-century school and the forerunner of St. Joseph’s Academy. Step back into the year 1818 and experience a school day as it would have been in Elizabeth Ann Seton’s world. You’ll meet the Seton Shrine’s Historical Interpreters portraying Sisters of Charity and Students as you take part in classes, games, and activities from the past. Join them for a day of learning, fun, and discovery—plus explore the growth of our young country in this special America’s 250th edition of this beloved program.
