Enroll Your Loved Ones in Our Prayer Offering on the Feast of Saints Anne and Joachim

In celebration of the Feast Day of Saints Anne and Joachim, and in recognition of the World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly, honor the special grandparents in your life enrolling them in a special prayer offering.

 

As the grandparents of Jesus, Anne and her husband Joachim are considered the patron saints of grandparents; their feast day is celebrated on July 26, just two days after this year’s World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly.

Pope Francis is dedicating the 2022 celebration to the importance of inviting older people to contribute to building a better world. The theme “They shall bear fruit even in old age” from the Book of Psalms (92:15) will “emphasize how grandparents and the elderly are a value and a gift both for society and for ecclesial communities.”
