…And as you encounter the Dead, you’ll be forever changed!

En el Paseo por el Cementerio, mientras un guía le conduce por la oscuridad a la luz de las velas, santos y mártires cobran vida y reflexionan sobre las "Últimas Cosas": la muerte, el juicio, el cielo y el infierno. Como San Isaac Jogues, que describirá lo que soportaron los mártires norteamericanos por amor a Cristo. O Santa Teresa de Ávila, que compartirá sus visiones del infierno.

También conocerás a Santa Isabel Ana Seton, que te revelará cómo encontró a Jesús en medio del sufrimiento.

A través de estos encuentros con santos y mártires, descubrirás lo que significa estar verdaderamente vivo, tanto ahora como en la vida venidera.

Esta caminata llena de fe es ideal para grupos de jóvenes y familias con niños mayores (14+). Por favor, envíe todas las consultas a richard.sautter@setonshrine.org.

Times: 6:20-8:15pm, with a walk beginning every 10-15 minutes

Qué esperar en el paseo por el cementerio "Regreso de los muertos":

  • Encontrará actores que representan a personajes históricos y de ficción.
  • El paseo dura aproximadamente 1 hora.
  • En caso de inclemencias meteorológicas, todas las entradas serán reembolsadas o reprogramadas para otra noche si hay disponibilidad.

Cuando venga, regístrese en nuestro Centro de Visitantes y tómese su tiempo para visitar nuestra tienda de regalos, que estará abierta a esa hora.

Auditions for Back from the Dead will be held on the follow dates. Actors should be available for the majority of the show dates. Please see below para más información.

The 2025 Back from the Dead Cemetery Walk at the Seton Shrine is upon us!

¡Buscamos voluntarios!

Event Dates: October 10-12, 17-19, 23-26

Indoor Performance: November 1st (All Saints Day) at 7:00pm

Se necesita ayuda voluntaria:

  • Guide Lead (supervisar a los guías y conectar a los guías con los grupos turísticos)
  • Guías (dirigen el recorrido en grupo por el cementerio)
  • Encargado de la hoguera (mantenimiento de la hoguera durante toda la noche, hospitalidad con los visitantes y comunicación del calendario de visitas en grupo)
  • Apoyo al foso de fuego (asistencia en el montaje y la limpieza del foso, hospitalidad con los visitantes)
  • Preparación de las linternas (mantenimiento de las linternas de aceite antes de que comiencen las visitas nocturnas)

Asista GRATIS al acto y eche una mano. Una hora de orientación le preparará para su papel de voluntario.

El compromiso de tiempo varía en función de la función del voluntario.  

Como voluntario, nos dices cuándo estás disponible.

NOTA: Los voluntarios deben tener 14 años o más.

AUDITION

Fr. Lt. Vincent R Capodanno, MM, CHC, USN: A Navy Chaplain and medal of honor recipient who served U.S. Marines and gave his life for others when he was killed in action during the Vietnam conflict. “Do not be afraid this day, for God is with us.”

The venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen: A beloved Archbishop who connected with roughly 30 million American citizens per week in their own living rooms through radio and TV broadcasts of his program “Life’s Worth Living.”

Mother Mary Lange was a contemporary of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton and founder and first Mother Superior of the Oblate Sisters of Providence, the first community of Religious Sisters intended for “women of color” in Antebellum America. Her community provided care of orphans, education and religious instruction for all Americans in need.

Blessed Stanley Rother – Born in Oklahoma, Fr. Rother received his training at Mt. St. Mary’s Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD. He was ordained a priest and was sent to serve as a missionary in Guatemala. When civil war and political unrest broke out, he briefly returned to the USA, but ultimately felt called by God to go back to Guatemala to Shepard his vulnerable flock stating “the shepherd cannot run.” He was martyred for his faith in July of 1981.

Brother Joseph Dutton: Was a layman born in Stowe, VT who became an American Civil WarUnion Army lieutenant. He converted to Catolicismo and offered a life of penitential labor for the sins of his past as a missionary serving a colony of lepers in Hawaii with Saint Damien of Molokai. 

Venerable Alphonse Gallegos- nick named, “Bishop of the Barrio” Fr. Al was born in Los Angelos. He returned to his hometown for the majority of his ordained ministry, working tirelessly for peace between waring gangs and social improvements to serve the needs of the impoverished and disadvantaged in his parish neighborhood and school.

Fr. Walter Cisek was a Pennsylvania native who went as a missionary to the Soviet Union in 1939 and was subsequently arrested and imprisoned for more than 20 years under suspicion of being a Vatican spy before he was released and returned to the USA. He found ultimate peace by accepting all circumstances as coming from the hand of God.

Must be age 14 or above. Auditions will be held:
