In addition to the monthly votive prayer candle, many Shrine benefactors memorialize their intentions with an annual or semi-annual votive prayer candle at the Seton Shrine. Each prayer candle bears an inscription describing the nature of the benefactor’s intention: for the welfare of a loved one, an act of thanksgiving, or any other special intention.
