The peace and serenity of the National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton provides the perfect location for your next day trip or retreat. In order to help you make the most of your time with us, the Seton Shrine offers a wide variety of amenities to serve your needs.
As Maryland and the rest of the country reopen, so too does the Shrine.
The Visitor Center and Museum are open Monday through Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 12-5pm. The gift shop remains closed, with plans to open on or around July 22. Please click here for the latest updates related to the coronavirus.
The Basilica is open for prayer, tours and Mass Monday through Sunday from 10am-5pm.
Mass: Monday through Friday at 1:30pm and Sunday at 11am and 1:30pm
Confession and Adoration: Monday through Friday and Sunday at 12:15-1:15pm

For groups of 10 or more, we’re accepting reservations for groups who wish to visit in September 2020 or beyond. Please visit our Group Tours webpage for more info.
Open Monday through Saturday 10am-5pm, with extended hours on Wednesday until 7:30pm, and Sunday 12-5pm.*
The grounds and historic cemetery are open from dusk to dawn, year-round.
*Hours include Visitor Center, Museum, Basilica and Gift Shop.
We are located along US 15, about 10 miles south of Gettysburg and within a one to two-hour drive of major metropolitan areas, like Frederick and Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC, and Harrisburg, PA.
All of our sites, walkways and tour grounds are accessible to physically challenged people.
Parking and Buses
The Seton Shrine offers plenty of free on-site bus and automobile parking. We are a member of the American Bus Association, which means we can easily accommodate large bus groups. If you have additional inquiries about transportation, please contact us at email@example.com.
There are two picnic areas on the property for your enjoyment. Please note that these are not covered areas so they would not be suitable for use in inclement weather.
The Seton Shrine has three meeting rooms available for your group visit. A/V equipment such as projectors, screens, microphones and speakers are also available for your convenience. To request a meeting room, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
