Discover Elizabeth Ann Seton's Path to Sainthood
In the 40 Years A Saint exhibit, you’ll learn how Elizabeth Ann Seton became a saint, and see highlights from the September 14, 1975 event where she was proclaimed a Saint by Pope Paul VI.
The centerpiece of the exhibit is the actual banner which hung in St. Peter’s Square on the day of her canonization. Artifacts and displays in the exhibit tell the story of how she became a saint and convey the magnitude of the 1975 celebration.
The exhibit was a highlight during the 40th Anniversary Celebration held on September 12-14, 2015, and remains on display for all visitors to enjoy.
