Civil War Sisters Tour
June 1 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
During the Civil War, as the Battle of Gettysburg raged just miles from the peaceful home of the Sisters, they could not ignore the call to help care for the wounded. After the Battle was over, the Sisters traveled 12 miles north to the battlegrounds to care for the wounded from the North and the South. Their charitable efforts brought healing and solace to the wounded on both the battlefields and in field hospitals. Discover what the Sisters experienced on our Civil War Sisters Tour.
The tour takes place on Saturdays during the summer, from June 1-August 31, at 11:30am and 1:30pm. Tickets are $8/adult, $6/youth ages 7-18, and free for children ages six and under.
